Fast, Cheap, Good: the age-old triangle. Everybody thinks they’re going to be the exception, the ones who finally break the rule. But you can't have all three.

Fast + Cheap? Easy. You knock it out and get it done fast. It might land initially, but it isn't going to get you very far because it sure won't be Good.

Cheap + Good? Absolutely possible, but it takes time. You have to spread the effort out, building quality over a long period so you actually have a solid foundation.

Fast + Good? We’re seeing a lot of this right now with AI. It gets you high-quality results rapidly, but it isn't Cheap. Upfront tokens, subscriptions, and long-term maintenance mean you pay for that speed and quality.

At the end of the day, trade-offs are real. Know which two you're picking, because you can't cheat the system.
